Deluxe Taikai Obi - JH23

This set of KuSakura belts is the deluxe set competitors needed to be distinguished in the eyes of the referees.

In Japan, and especially at the Kodokan, IJF blue color Judo Gi is never used in competitions. They prefer the use of a white and a red belt instead, the way it used to be before the implementation of the blue Judogi by the International Federation. The white or red belt is worn over the standard colored or black belt.

This deluxe version differs from the in that its core is made of a thick cotton core similar to those in standard belts. The belt's core is filled with semi-rigid cotton on 40 cm. This part is stiffer in order to stay in place (in the back of the Judoka) while competing. On the other hand, the belt is made of soft cotton. This material makes it easy to tie it tightly so you will not lose your belt easily.
